    Description

This listing is for a very cool and rare 1967 Gretsch 6120 that unfortunately will need some significant repairs and restorations to become a professional quality instrument. This guitar was made in 1967 and is a Nashville 6120. This is a fairly common guitar in Western Orange but this is the only one I have ever seen in a sunburst finish with painted F holes. The good news is the guitar is all original and hasn't been modified and comes with the original case. The bad news the binding has deteriorated all over the guitar and will need replaced. The neck also has a hump at the end of the fretboard it which makes the guitar fret out above the 12th fret so the guitar will also need fretwork or possibly a full refret and fingerboard plane. The guitar does play fairly well below the 12th fret and the angle is fine so I do not believe it would benefit from a neck reset. The pickups and electronics are all working but Other than the decaying binging on the guitar the guitar is cosmetically in ok shape and the sunburst finish is original and in good shape. The guitar comes as pictured with the original case which is in rough shape but is fully functional. Please look at the pictures and message with questions. Because of the repairs this guitar will need the guitar is being sold AS-IS with no returns or refunds. We are happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
    Thanks for looking,,
