Description
1968 Gretsch White Falcon Custom ordered one off. Bill Hagner was the production manager in the 60's he would sometimes make a custom order Gretsch an even sometimes put his name over the Gretsch logo. If you have a guitar that has the HAGNER name on it it's a Gretsch. Made in 1968, this Beautiful White falcon sports a Bigsby with no floating Tuning fork, No Mutes and no F holes!!! The gold sparkle binding is amazing it has pinstripe throughout all of the sparkle binding on the body and neck A little of the binding has crumbled but it's stable. The guitar is close to mint just some aging from the years have turned some of the clear coat yellow. Other interesting features is the "Shark Tooth" inlay something that Rickenbacker had at the time but these are not as long, they are made out of pearl. 2 Power Tron pickups, Angular pickguard. Headstock is also quite unique, it has a Van Epps / Gumby Vibe (Although this is not a 7 string) Over all maybe a way hip out the white falcon or possibly a prototype for another model. All in all this is one RARE guitar in pristine condition and perhaps the only one in the world like it. Has the original case and some case candy. Buyer pays all shipping.
