Description
I'm listing a JACKSON DKGC36 made in Japan, made for Guitar centers 36th anniversary. Guitar has a Chrome Lic. Floyd Rose Jackson locking Tremelo, 1 bridge Seymour Duncan Humbucker and 2 Strat sized mini Humbuckers, I have not had this guitar apart, so I don't know the what model the pickups are, and I do not know if they are original to this guitar. I will open it up and investigate if someone is seriously interested and they need to know. Guitar body is Lacewood or Leopard wood with a figured maple top with a beautiful orange/brown color gloss finish, which is a rare configuration. The neck is maple with a scarf joint, and rosewood fret board with sharkfin inlays with no binding. The guitar sounds incredible and plays very well, action is very low with no buzzing. Having worked at the Jackson Custom shop for a short while, I know a little about these but not that much. I can tell you (if you don't already know) that the quality on these imported from Japan in the mid 90s are very good quality instruments. The condition is a 7 out of 10, basically good with a few exceptions which are; tip of headstock is chipped off and missing, two tiny blemishes on the edge of lower bout, and some pick marks on the front. You could most likely rub out the pick marks and the blems are hard to spot, and the tip of head stock can be fixed by a good repair guy if it mattered that much, it never did to me. All are cosmetic and don't effect playability. Guitar ships with Jackson HSC in used condition. Please ask questions and look at photos carefully and I will add photos if requested, I welcome any info on this item, I don't claim to know everything on all models and have tried to include all details. Thanks for looking
