Up for sale is a good looking and running 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 LARAMIE 4WD Extended Cab LONG box 4x4 with the 5.9L 12 Valve Turbo diesel Cummins motor with only 158k original miles!  This truck has a clean/clear title, with NO ACCIDENTS!!  This is a VERY good truck that has always been adult driven as well as religiously maintained.
Mechanical:
The 12 valve 5.9 Cummins engine is one of the most sought after motors on the market due to it's incredible torque, fuel consumption, simplicity, and of course longevity!  Oil and filters changed regularly, engine has no "blow by"
and has an extra ordinary amount of power/torque and incredible fuel mileage!  There is no oil consumption, and has no check engine lights on.  Engine and transmission operate perfectly with no strange noises.  The transmission shifts like new!  In the last 5000 miles, the following parts have been replaced:  New tires, starter, lift pump, alternator, fuel shut off solenoid, fuel filter, transmission flush, brand new 4 inch MSRB exhaust from the turbo back, fuel overflow valve, new oil pan gasket, new brakes, updated LED headlights.  Injectors in the truck operate perfectly as does the 4 wheel drive.  The transmission has been rebuilt with approximately 35k miles on it. When the smallest thing went wrong with the truck, it was fixed properly.  This is a tight truck, and doesn't have the rattles you hear in alot of the 3/4 tons.  Truck does have a 3 or 4" lift, and the ride is VERY comfortable!  This is a tuck that could be hopped into immediately and driven across the U.S. without any problems.
Interior:
Truck has the top of the line Laramie package which includes many great options including electric windows, power seats and locks, cruise control, A/C, and leather seats,   There are No cracks in the dash!  Seats do however have some wear as seen in the pictures.  The truck has not been smoked in and does not have any foul odors.
There are no cracks or chips in the glass.
Body:
Compared to most of the older rams, this is a quite solid truck!!  The body is clean, much like the bottom of the truck.  In the pictures you will notice that some spots on the  bottom of the truck does have rust in places as well as above the rear tires on the outside of the bed.  I will be throwing in new rocker panels, that the new purchaser will have the opportunity to install.  I've included pictures of the bottom of the doors and bottom of the truck is VERY solid.  Normally these trucks are known to rust out very bad in these areas....but this truck doesn't seem to have that problem.  Any rust that presented itself has been cleaned and treated with rust neutralizer, and color matched to the truck.  Truck has some small dings, scratches, and rock chips in areas, its not a show truck by any means.  Truck has a 2" receiver for towing, brake controller in the cab, as well as a spot for a 5th wheel ball in the bed!
