  • Condition: This guitar is all original, the only thing that was changed were the strap buttons. The guitar is in mint collector quality condition with only a few small dings, and minimal wear on the fingerboard and frets. The binding is in beautiful condition, with only one small piece being repaired on the side of the neck joint. The pickguard has a small crack that has been repaired and is holding up perfectly.This guitar comes with the original Gretsch hardshell case.

    - This 1955 Gretsch Convertible 6199 is an ultra cool, rare piece, especially with its original Bamboo Yellow and Copper Mist factory finish. These archtops were later known as the 'Sal Salvador.' This guitar is all original, the only thing that was changed were the strap buttons. The guitar is in mint collector quality condition with only a few small dings, and minimal wear on the fingerboard and frets. The binding is in beautiful condition, with only one small piece being repaired on the side of the neck joint. The pickguard has a small crack that has been repaired and is holding up perfectly. The guitar plays and sounds great, and is a very cool piece of Gretsch history! This guitar comes with the original Gretsch hardshell case.
