Description
1951-1952 Fender NoCaster/Telecaster High E Tuner. This is the second of 3 styles of Kluson tuners seen on Black Guard Telecasters. This model is distinguished by a closed "clam shell," no writing on the gear cover ("No Line"), and 2356766/PAT. APPLD. on the base plate. These were used from about the Spring of '51 until about early '52, when we begin to see the open shell "No LIne" tuners. Extremely hard to find these, particularly in the High E, as it's always the one that gets damaged or replaced. Shafts are straight, this tuner is in remarkably good condition for its age. Holds tune.
