    Description

    I believe these plush tapestry items were Italian made and date to the 1930s. I've only seen the Donald Duck pillow once before and it was covered with sewn on World War II army insignia patches. This is just the pillow cover, it does not have the stuffing. It measures approx. 17 x 16 1/2 inches and is the original size, the selvage edge of the tapestry fabric is evident around the edges. The back panel has some holes and the areas of black plush on Donald's hat and jacket has some threadbare lines, otherwise it is in very fine shape and has retained good color. Rare item.
