RARE VINTAGE 1968 Silvertone SUNBURST Hollowbody 1418 Electric Guitar

1968 Silvertone 1418. Serial No 308278. In very good shape, the finish still look great, there are a few light dings in the body (not viewable in the photos) from the natural manipulation on the stage. Everything seem to be in working order although I am not sure what all the switches are supposed to do and for sure they're gonna need and electric adjustment and cleaning. NOT PLAYED IN ABOUT 20 YEARS AND BEFORE THAT FOR ABOUT 2-3 YEARS WHEN IT WAS NEW . WELL KEPT IN A CARDBOARD CASE AND IN A CONTROLED TEMP STORAGE PLACE.
The tremolo bar is there and there is NO PITTING on the chrome
No faded paint on the sunburst finish and the lacquer finish is all there.
A few very light nicks on the surface from natural use, not visible for pictures
It will go in a Vintage hard cardboard case
Only available in the Spring/Summer 1968 Catalog of Sears
Based on the Teisco EP-2L, which was kinda ES-335ish.
It was the only one in this 'family' to share the EP-2L 'Mt Fuji' headstock
It was the predecessor to the much longer lived and far more common Silvertone 1455 & 1456
A needed piece in any level collector
