USA Fender Stratocaster Plus with Hipshot Tremsetter - very rare and collectible

Up for auction is a rare and collectible USA Fender Stratocaster Plus in great condition and with original case.
The “plus” was Fender’s introduction of a few new design advances: 3 Fender Lace Sensor pickups, which were designed to reduce if not eliminate 60 cycle hum; a roller nut; and, locking tuners. All in all, the model’s marketing role was that of an upscale American Standard. The roller nut eliminates the need for string trees on the headstock. If you ever see a “Strat Plus” with string trees, you’ll know it’s time to look elsewhere; it’s not a true “Plus.”
All Plus guitars have locking tuners. These are very convenient as you just loosen the nut, pull the string through till it is tight, tighten the nut, cut off the excess, and tune. This guitar also has the LSR Roller nuts which make string changes much easier, as each string rides on top of a set of roller bearings—a really great improvement over the Wilkinson nuts.
This guitar still has the Hipshot Tremsetter which compensates for string tension. Once set up correctly, and after getting the guitar in tune, they stay in tune. If a string breaks while playing, the Tremsetter will compensate and the guitar will stay in tune.
The electronics all work as new and the body is in great shape, with the exception of some very light scratches in the surface only, which I tried to capture in the photos.
There are no stress cracks or chips, the neck is straight & the truss rod works fine.
The original case is in good condition; however one of the four latches is broken.
