  • Condition: Good condition for its age. Plays very well, with low neck action, and sounds great through a tube amplifier. No issues at all with the electronics. Overall, the front and back of the body are in very good shape. There are two hairline cracks by one of the tone knobs, and a small amount of top layer separation at the bottom of the front. There is some finish checking on the sides, and a small ding at the back tip of the lower horn. There is evidence of the back being re-glued at some point (see side photos for details), but the guitar has been completely solid in the 15 years I have owned it.

    Description

    For sale is a beautiful vintage late-60's Norma EG 663-2HT hollow-body electric guitar, made by Tiesco, with a very nice sunburst finish.  The guitar is in good shape for its age - very solid, plays well and sounds great through a tube amplifier.  There are no electrical or structural issues with the guitar.  The neck looks brand new and is perfectly straight, with low action.  Please see the condition description section and hi-res photos for exact details on the guitar's condition.
    The bridge pickup was swapped for a GFS Wild Dog humbucker, which works very well for the guitar.  However, I still possess the original bridge pickup and it will be shipped along with the guitar.
