This is a RARE VINTAGE 1963 HAGSTROM FUTURAMA II DELUXE RED ELECTRIC GUITAR.
It is in excellent playing condition with everything working perfectly.
These early Futurama II are getting harder and harder to find. As you can see a small piece of the decal is missing.
Manufactured in Sweden, this model was known both as the Hagstrom II and the Futurama (particularly in the UK where these guitars were marketed by Selmer).
Featuring two crisp and clear sounding single coil pickups, this Hagstrom II has a resonant, wood body with a vibrant red finish.
The vinyl back is in nice shape and shows barely any signs of shrinkage.
It weighs in at a mere 6lbs 10oz. One of the premier European guitar brands in the 1960s, Hagstrom produced guitars with high quality hardware, great sounding pickups, and slender necks that are simply a joy to play.
