YAMAHA SG-1000 1982 made
Yamaha started SG series (same shape with current SG) in 1974.
The line up of this SG series are SG-175, SG-90, SG-70, SG-50 and SG-35.
After that, they started SG-2000 though neck type , a bit later, they added SG-1000 as set in neck type.
I think SG-1000 was most popular model. No idea how many Yamaha made.
However, now, we could not see the good condition Yamaha SG-1000 even in Japan.
Yes, you could see them sometimes on auction site.
But very regretfully, most of them are very poor condition and need muchworks after purchase.
This SG-1000 is pretty good condition. The outlook is generally fine. Most of Yamaha has paint problem.
The clear top coat became cream, not transparent. This guitar is fine.
I have checked all and just did a few maintenance works such as putting new switching knob and control knob
(Yamaha original).
The neck is straight, and truss rod is workable. The frets are bit worn but not necessary to refret now.

1. These guitars are mostly over 20 years old. We are trying to describe as possible as we can.
However, we described based on our evaluation.
These are not brand new guitars. You could not compare the guitars with brand new.
If you are expecting the brand new guitar condition or perfect, in case, most of vintage guitar will not make you happy.
2. Frets are generally worn because these are second hand guitar.
We have checked whether it can be used without leveling or re-fret.
We notice you there are some possibilities that you would like to level.
It depends on the players.  We would like Bidder have knowledge how to adjust the string height and intonation.
The guitar neck is also very sensitive.  Sometimes, the humid or dry (in air place) will cause the minor neck bow.
The Nut groove height is so sensitive. Therefore, these weather conditions sometimes affect the condition.
However, these minor trouble can be mostly solved by adjusting the truss rod, bridge or nut groove height.
We could not accept the claim for this case.
We would like you to have knowledge to adjust like this by yourself.
We will not accept any requests the bidder ask us to settle repair fee after you purchased.
3. The bidder may need to pay the import tax depending on the country.
We don't know how much you should pay it.
It depends on your country law. Our pricing is not including any expense outside of our country.
4. If the guitar is not exactly our description or it is not your expectation,
we will accept the return.  After receiving the return goods, we will refund all you paid.
We will not settle the return freight and import tax you paid.
5. The damage during transportation, we will cover by EMS insurance.
It takes 1-2 months after receiving your local EMS officials report.
By air shipment, there are some possibilities that air pressure change, humidity or temperature may cause the trouble of guitar wood.
On the internet sales, you could not check the good by yourself.
We are trying to explain the detailed.
We are not willing that the bidder will be unhappy after you purchase the guitar from us.
If you find out any, please report us within 2 days after you receive the goods.
We would not accept any return after you or somebody repair the guitar.
